Hum Nath Parajuli received his B.Eng. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Pokhara University, Nepal in 2008. He received a joint M.Sc. degree from Osaka University, Japan and Scula Superiore Sant’ Anna, Italy in 2012 ( Erasmus Mundus MAPNET program). After working shortly in quantum communication in Germany he received a Marie Curie fellowship for his Ph.D. research. He received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in optical communication from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary in 2019. During his Ph.D. research, he investigated the performance of the advanced 5G modulation formats in mmwave radio over fibers systems. He did experiments in the photonics Lab of University College London, UK, and IMEP-LaHC / Phelma Grenoble-INP, France. since May 2019, he is a postdoctoral researcher in Sant Anna School of Advanced Studies, TeCIP Institute, Pisa, Italy.His current research interests include photonic integrated circuits design and simulations for various applications.
